I've cleared everything with the school administration, so our fireworks extravaganza is ready to go!
Starting this week, each class will have little projects that will lead to the construction of the fireworks, which we'll set off the night before Christmas break. And before you ask, yes, your groups will be graded on how they look. Hope everyone has fun with this!

Nagase-san, what a coincidence to have bumped into you at the video shop! Thanks again for the movie; it was much better than the rather random selection at the store. That was probably my first time at the movies since returning to Japan.

To all the students, I thought that with Christmas coming up that it might be nice to do something a little more interesting and fun in class. While it's not hard to buy fireworks in the summer time, it's nearly impossible to find them in the winter. I thought it would be a nice change of pace for us to make our own in class. We'll take a few classes to design them properly, spend a few classes putting them together, and set them off before the winter break. Any interest?

Seems like there are quite a lot of birthdays coming up!

I've noticed that some of you are coming to class with rather long faces lately. I'm not usually one to pry into my student's personal lives, but if any of you need to talk, my door's always open. Unfortunately, I can't reduce your workload, but let's try to make sure you're all in good shape to tackle it, ne?

I also noticed that it's almost Nagase-sensei's birthday. I hope everyone remembers to wish him a good one ; )
